At a recent event in New York, Acer unveiled its latest back-to-school product line up, and took the opportunity to highlight its advanced thermal technologies that enable thinner form factors in new gaming notebooks, detachables, and all-in-one PCs without compromising on performance.
In addition, Acer gave the world’s first public hands-on demonstrations of Windows Mixed Reality with the Acer Windows Mixed Reality head-mounted display, providing guests experiences that fuse together the physical and digital worlds. StarVR virtual reality headsets were also on hand with their industry-leading resolution and a field-of-view close to natural vision. Attendees were entertained with ultra-immersive John Wick Chronicles VR gameplay complete with realistic rifles and full motion tracking.
“We’re thrilled to be here in New York to continue our conversation beyond hardware and about how we’re taking technology to the next level,” said Jason Chen, Corporate President and CEO, Acer Inc.
“Forty years ago, Acer set out with a mission to break barriers between people and technology, and today we continue that tradition by providing technologies that empower users to create and experience their world like never before.”
